The 19th Annual Heinzerling Foundation Golf Classic took place on September 19, 2005. The weather was sunny and warm for the 18 foursomes (70+ golfers) to take to the course to benefit the residents of the Heinzerling Foundation. The format for the day was an 18-hole scramble with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. Before the start, though, participants could take part in a clinic with the Pro, putting contest, range practice, perusing of raffle prizes and buying raffle tickets. Breakfast was served near the outdoor registration area. Golfers were treated to box lunches on their carts compliments of AVI Foodsystems, Inc. After 18 holes were completed, the golfers joined one another in the clubhouse for socializing, a hearty steak dinner, and the awarding of prizes. Over 40 raffle prizes were given away, along with prizes for the 1st place team from Liebert Corporation and the 2nd place team made up of individual golfers Norm Sparling, Tim Cadden and Italo Sinopoli. The 19th Annual Golf Classic raised over $40,000 to benefit the residents of the Heinzerling Foundation.
